The Big Read reckons that the average adult has only read 6 of the top 100 books they've printed. Well let's see.

1) Look at the list and bold those you have read.
2) Italicize those you intend to read.

Writer's Block: The Beatles

In their heyday, The Beatles were the center of the pop universe. Many groups have been hailed as the next Beatles, but does pop music even have a center anymore? Who represents the core of pop music to you?

this woman is screaming and swearing at her kids outside my house. i'm so close to yelling out my window at her to stop because i'm trying to rewrite this stupid ap essay and i can't concentrate. there's no reason to be using that kind of language in front of kids who have got to be about 12 or under.

so cuckoo, my baby, her leg has been like, quivering every now and then. i asked my friend heather about it, and she said it might be arthritis. there are so many problems with this
1. being a middle class family, there isn't enough money for a trip to the vet
2. if there was, they'd do an exam and there's always a chance that cuck'll have some disease. there's no way we'd be able to afford treatment, and i would end up feeling so guilty and crying everyday and quite possibly taking up hard drugs. i know how selfish this must sound, but ignorance is bliss. she's old and i want us to enjoy the rest of her life instead of bursting into tears whenever she walks into the room because she's a walking time bomb

if you're going to comment me telling me i'm a jerk and i need to take her to the vet if i can get the money, please don't. i've been crying non-stop for over two hours. leave cute things that will make me laugh and stuff, but no lolcats obv.

Socratic was REALLY good last night.  There were some tech problems, but that wasn't their fault. Which is why I was so annoyed when people were saying how they sucked and how they expected more from them. First of all, they cancelled nearly all of their tourdates except for this one. They could have said, well fuck you, and cancelled it, spent time with their girlfriends and stuff. But they didn't.
On a lighter note! I MET DUANE MOTHERFUCKING OKUN who I am kinda in love with. I met most of the other dudes too, they're unbelievably nice. And Duane shouted me out during their set and gkbwehtgf. It was so funny, Aki and I were outside, and so were Kevin and Duane. They had to leave, and I was like "can I have a hug?" but my voice was all crazy because I'm kinda sick, and I was singing along with the songs I knew so I started to lose my voice! Kevin was like hahaha yeah, and then commented on how gentle my hug was, I mumbled something about being little. Then I hugged Duane too, and he squeezed me and it was so lol. "Jack don't let go, I'm cold, my nips are hard".  Seriously, if you can see them live, DO IT DO IT DO IT they're the nicest fucking guys ever.

Pictures will be up whenever my friend uploads them (: I took a bunch.

Maybe if I keep talking as if I'll be in New York come the fall, it will happen and my r's will stay in place. That's what I tell myself, anyway. "Juliana and I are so excited for AP English ma, it's going to be really fun." I hung out with Ju and her family yesterday, and Kath's baby is SO CUTE. I'm trying to think if there's anything else interesting going on, I don't want to bore the 4 people that'll read this. All I do is sleep, do sudoku puzzles, and hang out with my friends though. And as none of you know my friends, it's of no relevance. So here's some information about me that you may already know?

Global Studies makes me want to slit my wrists vertically. The kids in my class are so fucking retarded, and if I have a headache and try to sleep, the teacher has kids bang books on my desk and such. Fuck you, it's the week before the last week of school, I know everything I need to know to pass the regents. I would just go home after gym/lunch if I didn't have English after that mind numbing forty minutes of hearing my teacher yell and swear at the students, while the students yell and swear back. That's another reason I'd like to get out of Peekskill, because the students are all disrespectful and awful and I hate most of them. Or ~strongly dislike. Excusez moi. Even I get tired of all the drama sometimes.

I'd probably have a lot more friends if I wasn't such a dickhead, mais c'est la vie. je ne donne pas un fuck. If there's a french word for fuck (I believe 'to fuck' is baiser, not sure), I'd like someone to tell me.

If that was tl;dr, Global Studies can eat me out and I'm a dickhead with broken french. Also very profane, I've noticed.

Any way the wind blows

I might be moving back to massachusetts. This both breaks my heart and excites me. I'm going to miss about 15 people, but I miss my family, too. I'm kinda nervous, cause while it was easy to make friends when I moved here, I think it's cause I was 10 and the cliques hadn't really formed yet. I'm going to be starting my junior year at a new school. I donno. I am pretty good at befriending people, it's just the staying friends I have issue with. I cried a little earlier today. I have to buy a yearbook now, so everyone can sign it and write things that they probably won't mean.

I planned on moving back after high school, but that's two years away.

I keep blowing dandylion seeds everywhere even though I'm allergic to pollen.
This wasn't meant to be some sort of psuedo analogy about me by the way, don't read into it. I just really like dandylions.
It's the last quarter of the school year and I just can't get motivated to do my work, so I talk about my dandylion obsession on here |:
I'm afraid of junior year. I don't want to grow up.

Life is really good. I get excited over dumb teenage girl things, despite my tries not to.  But it's nerve wracking, having crushes on people. I hate it. I hate waiting, and I hate anxiety. I put people on pedestals, I shouldn't. But I move on real quickly, so it's whatever. I got over most of my social awkwardness I think. I challenged myself the other day to look every person I passed on the street in the eyes and say hello. It felt good. I'm still sick though, that kind of sucks. Going to go heat up some coffee and pizza, study verbs, watch american idol. Stay classy.

It's strange to have a conversation with someone when you know they want to sleep with you. I should probably friend lock this, I won't.
